Job Description:

The Microsoft D365 Consultant is dedicated to defining solution specifically for the platform and acts in a SME role to provide guidance with Design/ Development expertise for client-based engagements and extensions to 365 F&O, Retail, Commerce Suite (typically Implementations, rollouts and productizing engagements)

They will translate the business requirements and design specifications. The consultant will also play an active role in the identification and creation of all necessary documentation aligned to client process flows.

Key Responsibilities:

Interact with Internal Team, client Power users and functional resources to translate business requirements into system requirements, design specifications and document new and/or existing application requirements. Ensure that new or existing systems meet business requirements and practices and that all application interface issues/concerns are understood, documented and addressed satisfactorily
Works closely with business partners on providing a POV on technical and process recommendations and solutions for Commerce Merchandising, Loyalty, & Product Management programs
Configure the platform per specifications
Ensure team members follow established standards
Ensure deliverables are of the highest quality
Prepare estimates for complex projects to provide management with information needed to accurately forecast project delivery dates
Provide production support to existing systems
Assist in the mentoring, training and development of team members skills
Participates in cross-functional efforts to build out customizations as required
Works with technical teams to devise or modify procedures/processes to solve complex problems
Utilizes functional knowledge of the project Management, Resourcing and Billing processes for service industries

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related functional business area or equivalent experience
Has 5+ years of experience in D365 F&O/Commerce & Retail + related Power Apps eco-systems
Experienced in end-to-end implementations of D365 F&O Commerce & POS systems
Strong ability to balance multiple responsibilities and take initiative
Proficiency in configuring D365 Finance Operations & knowledge of Commerce integration patterns
Capable of Designing and configuring POS payment system(s)
Working with ERP & Commerce Omni channel programs
Ability to perform in a fast paced and highly interactive team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as problem solving skills
Flexible, team oriented, self-motivated, proactive, and passionate
