Job Description

Collect the queries related to the requirements and get them resolved.
Should have used Selenium IDE for recording scripts and creating test suites.
Create the software test plan, get it reviewed and approved/ signed-off by the relevant stakeholders
Experience on Selenium Webdriver for web testing
Build Automation suite using Selenium
Preparing Test Scenarios
Preparing Test Cases for module, integration and system testing
Preparing Test Data’s for the test cases
Preparing Test Environment to execute the test cases
Analysing the Test Cases prepared by other team members
Executing the Test CasesTest the GUI, usability and user-friendliness of the web applications
Creative, takes the initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
Develop and Implement test strategy, test plans, test cases, test reports for various testing like unit,
functional, regression and performance testing
Track the new/ updated requirements in the project and modify testing artifacts accordingly
Review the test cases and test data generated by the Software Test Engineers and get them to address the review comments
Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to software developers
Escalate and obtain resolution of the issues related to the test environment and team
Giving mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it
Preparing Lesson Learned documents from the previous project testing experience
Preparing Suggestion Documents to improve the quality of the application
Conducting Review Meetings within the Team
Product Presentations whenever required
Improve the test process based on the suggestions by others and own judgment
Good to have on Database testing and preferably Basic knowledge on SQL Server queries
