Job Description :

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for creating and maintaining software test suites and test tools for storage testing.
He/she ensures the product is well tested with high quality to catch software defects early before customers report them. He/she must also coordinate with multi-functional scrum teams to execute tests against their code to help them achieve their goals.
This position requires a highly competent, results-oriented, self-directed software testing professional with a strong test automation background.
The Quality Assurance Engineer is expected to be able to work with a variety of development environments and operating systems (Linux, Mac and MS Windows).
The individual should be proficient in testing methodologies, programming and scripting languages, and various automation techniques.
Requirements
Strong Experience in Python Automation
Experience with open-source I/O workload generator tools such as FIO, fstest, xfstest, iozone, dbench, etc.
Experience in operating usage of NetApp and/or Isilon storage appliances.
Experience in working in Unix and VMware environments.
Ability to triage storage product failures going through logs and traces to quickly identify which components causing the failures.
Experience with VMWare VVOL and storage certification is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile software development and QA processes, principles, and techniques.
Ability to work independently and as a member of global project teams.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
