Technical Skills:
Strong in Automation selenium
Strong in Java
Strong in restful web services and API Manual and automation
Demonstrated experience in developing automation framework and automation test scripts using Selenium Web driver.
Experience testing restful web services and API automation
Demonstrated experience in manual & automation testing of web applications on different mobile devices (web and native).
Knowledge of load testing with JMeter is preferred
Hands-on knowledge of database testing with ability to write complex SQL queries.
Understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, HTTP, REST API, cookies, sessions, browser differences, responsive design.
Job Summary:
Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC, QA process, methodology and tools.; Working knowledge of Agile is added advantage
Expert at the various approaches & techniques used in testing, including Selenium automation, JMeter and other Open Source performance tools
Be creative and innovative to improve efficiency and quality of work.
Zeal to learn and apply new technological advancements / process improvements in testing area.
Able to provide end to end Testing solution
Should be willing to work on challenging assignments
Deep technical expertise in implementing industry standard testing methodology and tools
Experience in implementing testing best practices specific to the test planning and execution processes and gaining buy-in for changes from executives
A deep understanding of test planning and delivery challenges
Responsibilities:
Working within the Technology team, specifically on the software test design, development and execution of software products and applications.
Design, implement, and enhance the quality process.
Develop and maintain manual and automation tests for web applications and services.
Design, document, maintain and execute functional, integration, regression, load and stress test suites.
Create Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Execute manual tests, summarize test results and log defects.
Own the testing of complete suite of products and device measures to improve the web performance
Work closely with local engineering team and collaborate with global engineers and product managers.
Should be able to define test strategy and build scenarios.
Should be able to work on multiple engagements.
Understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle: Agile methodology.
Work within software development group’s expectations, processes, and quality initiatives.
Strive continuously to improve the knowledge in test planning, development and execution skills.
Should be able to work closely with Development and other supporting teams.
Should be able to communicate and escalate issues appropriately
