Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs
  • Testing and evaluating new programs
  • Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications
  • Writing and implementing efficient code
  • Determining operational practicality
  • Developing quality assurance procedures
  • Deploying software tools, processes and metrics
  • Maintaining and upgrading existing systems
  • Working closely with other developers, UX designers, business and systems analysts

Technical Experience:

  • Familiarity with the .Net Core, SQL Server and design/architectural patterns microservice)
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, jQuery and HTML5
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs
  • Able to support and lead a team
  • Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute in all phases of the development life cycle
  • Write well designed, testable, reusable, bug-free and efficient code
  • Ensure design and solutions are in compliance with requirement specifications
  • Develop, test, build and release software components using JIRA, Maven and SVN
  • Hands-on experience in developing web applications using (HTML, JQuery, JSF, PrimeFaces, Spring MVC)
  • Hands-on experience in developing REST web services with Hibernate ORM
  • Good knowledge in working with MySQL database
  • Continuous learning and quickly adaptability to new technologies and frameworks
  • Certified Java Developer with knowledge of design patterns would be added advantage
